What is Citron NEO?
Citron NEO is an open-source Nintendo Switch emulator maintained by the citron-neo community on GitHub. Builds are published as tagged releases on citron-neo/emulator and continuous nightlies on citron-neo/CI for Windows, Linux, macOS, and Android.
Not the same as old Citron or Yuzu
Citron NEO is not a corporate successor to Yuzu or the former citron-emu.org project. Domains and repos from earlier projects may be offline or taken over. Treat only github.com/citron-neo/ as the current download source for this emulator line.
What is this website?
www.citronneo.org is a community install and setup guide. It links official GitHub Assets, walks through install and first-run setup, and documents common troubleshooting. It does not host emulator binaries, ROMs, prod.keys, or firmware.
Eden, Ryujinx, and other emulators
Several Switch emulators exist as separate community projects with different release schedules and compatibility. If you use Citron NEO, download only from citron-neo on GitHub and keep keys, firmware, and game paths tied to that install. This site does not rank or endorse other emulators — pick one official channel and verify it before every download.
Community & upstream
Release notes, source code, and issue tracking live on GitHub. Day-to-day discussion uses the official Discord linked from the upstream readme.
