All builds
Version notes and checksums live on GitHub. This guide only links the citron-neo organization — no mirrors. Impersonation and fake download pages exist; if it is not under github.com/citron-neo/, do not use it.
New to Citron NEO? Prefer a tagged emulator release first; use CI nightlies when you want the latest per-platform build.
How to pick a file
- Open CI builds (nightly, per platform) or Emulator releases (dated tags) below.
- Open the release → Assets.
- Download the file for your OS and CPU (e.g. Windows x64
.zip, Linux x86_64.AppImageor.tar.zst). - Read the release description / changelog on that GitHub page for game-specific notes before you upgrade — compatibility changes every tag.
CI (nightly)
Continuous builds for Windows, Linux, macOS, and Android. Updated frequently; pick the platform row that matches your machine.
Emulator (tagged)
Dated releases with changelog text. Fewer surprises than tracking every nightly.
Roll back a bad update
On CI or emulator releases, open an older entry; re-download the asset for your platform. Extract to a new folder or back up the old one. Use the in-app menu to open the user data folder when a working build runs (often under File) so you know what to back up.
Why we don’t list every version
A static mirror list would go stale. GitHub is the source for tags, Assets, and notes.
Before you upgrade
- Open the release description on GitHub for the tag or nightly you are grabbing — game-specific fixes and known regressions are listed there first.
- Watch for breaking changes (e.g. cache invalidation, config moves).
- Keep the previous archive to revert.
- Try a new build in a separate folder when testing something critical.
- Questions about timing or behavior on a fresh build: Discord or GitHub issues— cite your exact asset name and GPU/driver when reporting visuals or FPS.
