Install on Android

GitHub releases ship .apk on CI (Android nightly) and on some emulator tags. Read the release note to choose the standard vs Snapdragon 8 Elite variant when both exist.

On a phone or tablet, open CI releases → Continuous Build (Android…), or emulator releases.
Under Assets, download the .apk that matches your device (see filenames and release text).
Open the downloaded file. If Android blocks the install, allow installs from your browser or file manager (e.g. “Install unknown apps”) for that source only.
Launch Citron and grant storage or other permissions if prompted. Keys, firmware, and library paths depend on the build — see first-time setup where the desktop steps apply, and upstream readme for Android-specific notes.
